You can now design buildings with various parameters and save them directly to your asset bank for use across multiple projects. You can also set the buildings to 'public' so other users can use your buildings.

How the building maker works

The tool offers several configuration options to create buildings that fit your track's aesthetic. Once you've designed a building, it gets saved to your personal asset bank where you can access it later. From there, you can place these custom buildings anywhere in your track scenes using the main editor. You can adjust textures, building shapes and lots more, and more to come!

Current features and limitations

This first release includes the core functionality for building creation and asset management. The parameter system lets you adjust dimensions, styles, and other structural elements to get the building shape you need.

The textures are admittedly rough right now. They'll get a significant upgrade in upcoming releases, but the underlying building generation system is solid and ready to use.

Getting started

You can access the building maker at trecorsa.com/tools/building-maker/. The interface is straightforward - adjust the parameters until you get a building you like, then save it to your asset bank. Your saved buildings will appear in the asset panel when you're working in the track editor.
