Trollstigen is a spectacular national tourist road in Møre og Romsdal (county road 63) that connects Åndalsnes in Rauma with Valldal in Sunnmøre. The road is famous for its 11 hairpin bends up a steep mountainside, opened in 1936, and is one of Norways most visited attractions with a modern viewpoint at the top.
Trollstigen has an average gradient of about 8-10 and rises 839 meters in altitude over a distance of 10.9 kilometers. The road takes you from Isterdalen up to Stigrøra, 858 meters above sea level.

Log in to commentAwesome road! It has so much potential and reminds me of the Stelvio Pass or the Transfăgărășan. I don't know this road personally—I have never even seen a picture of it, heh—but I think OSM data didn't give the exact elevation (which doesn't matter). However, in certain spots (hairpins), it has to be fixed. I know that this is work in progress, so if you need any help or testing, I'm here! You can also write to me on Discord if you want
